Blue Ledge Farm takes on 2 interns each summer for the months of May, June, July, & August. Each intern must commit to appoxiamtely 3 months, although they are welcome to stay for all four months.

Our two interns share an apartment that is connected to the main farmhouse. It is a studio apartment with two floors making up one big room with the kitchen and eating area downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

There are two main aspects to our farm operation. One is in the cheese plant, mostly making and wrapping cheese; the other is in the barn, milking the goats, feeding, and other daily chores. There is also a large organic vegetable garden which also requires work.

Each intern will be needed to work 25 to 30 hours a week, although each intern will also have a good deal of flexibility in scheduling those hours.
