Farm Partners

Burnell Pond Farm is located in our neighboring town of Brandon, VT and is owned and operated by the Lekberg family. Chris (and sometimes his wife, Kathy, or daughters Kaitlyn, Kelsey or Karly) milks sixty lovely American Alpine and LaMancha does on his historic farm, nestled between Burnell Pond and the shadow of the Green Mountains. The farm has been in the Lekberg family for three generations. We have been purchasing all of Chris’ milk since 2005.

Crawford Family Farm are cheesemakers in their own right (makers of Vermont Ayr), but we are fortunate enough to fill our milk cans with 1,000 lbs of their sweet Ayrshire milk once a week and make our Camembrie cheese. The four mile drive over to their “Scapeland Farm” is an experience in and of itself, as the farm is layed out like a quilt with the Green Mountains extending across the horizon and some spotted red Ayrshire cows grazing contentedly.
